How to apply
1. First, look at the admission guide for international students at SNU. Online application periods for the 2026 Spring Semester are Monday, July 7, 2025, to Thursday, July 10, 2025. (https://admission.snu.ac.kr/international/notice)
2. Second, contact professors at GSIAT at SNU with documents (Form 1: application, 2: personal statement and study plan, and 3: two recommendation letters [Download here]) (https://gsiat.snu.ac.kr/eng/default.asp)
3. Third, apply through the SNU online application by indicating international admission I.
4. If the SNU online application does not approve you, you are not eligible for the YUN, Dae Sub Scholarship. For further details, contact the professors you contacted at GSIAT, SNU.
Scholarship details:
1. At the beginning, KRW 12,000,000 per year (Full tuition fee: approximately KRW 4,000,000 per semester)
2. Up to four semesters (2 Years) based on the first year’s evaluation
3. Approximately 10 foreign graduate students will be selected starting the 2026 Spring Semester.
