a) Work Competence
Able to develop knowledge and technology in food through research in order to produce innovative and tested works.
b) Special Work Skills
Able to solve problems of food science and technology through inter or multidisciplinary approach.
c) Managerial Competence
Able to manage research in the field of food and its development that is beneficial to society and science and able to obtain national and international recognition.
Career Prospective
Graduates of the Undergraduate Program of Food and Agricultural Products Technology generally seek employment in food industry, government, universities or institutions. Until 2018, 61% of alumni work in the food industry; 30% work in the government and education sectors; and the remaining 9% are entrepreneurs.
Academic Program
The faculty implements Student Centered Learning (SCL) as a standard method of delivery in the learning and teaching activities, creating an atmosphere in which the students as the subject and the teaching staffs as the facilitator of the learning activities. The faculty designs the curriculum with the workload that can be accomplished in 4, 2, and 3 years for the undergraduate, master and doctoral degrees, respectively.
