Library Faculty of Agricultural Technology UGM is located on the fourth floor of the new building. Books, scientific journals, research reports, and various reference collections for lectures, lab work, and other learning processes are available at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology library. The last data library is as follows:

The library uses an open borrow system / open access to serve the needs of students and other borrowers. This system gives users the freedom to retrieve and restore their own collections. If the collection of textbooks, reference books, research, seminar proceedings, thesis, inaugural speech, dissertation, and thesis can be searched titles, subject, author name and supervisor name through manual and computer catalog with CDS / ISIS software. Even the searchers of information on journals can quickly find a particular subject on the Journal article index computer.

To provide better service in the library also provided coffee machine and internet service. Currently the FTP-UGM library is being prepared into a digital library (virtual library). Therefore, the submission of the thesis and thesis must be accompanied by a CD. In collaboration with UGM central library, efforts are being made to complete the FTP-UGM library with e-Books and e-Journals services.

Students and lecturers of FTP-UGM are automatically members of the library. Nonetheless, students are required to have membership cards for the purpose of using the library facilities. Members’ cards can be obtained by handing over a photocopy of a student card or proof of payment of the applicant’s applicable semester and two photographs (3 x 4 cm). Students from other faculties in UGM and from other universities outside UGM can also use the FTP-UGM library. They are charged an administrative fee under applicable terms. Service is provided every Monday – Thursday from 07:00 – 16:00, Friday from 07:00 to 15:00. Specially for Saturday the library will be open upon request of the student and starting at 09:00 – 14:00
